Gullweig was her name, that is Golden. When she showed up at Asgard, the gods were amazed at her beauty. Nobody knew, where she came from and what she was carrying with her. She was beautiful, beautiful and those who looked at her saw her, that it burns with a golden glow. Already with her appearance she aroused adoration and desire. Her voice and songs, which she sang, they had the color and tone of the noblest of metals. She cast an undeniable spell around her, awakening in hearts love for beautiful and expensive things. The wedding days were now among the Aesir.
After a while, Gullweig wanted to visit Midgard. The gods willingly agreed, wanting, that a person may also know joy, which you derive from beauty. From then on, bad things began to happen in the human world. Gullweig visited homes, Heid was now called, and wherever she went, it aroused in hearts a love for gold and an uncontrolled desire for it. She has taught people to love and value wealth above all else. Midgard looked like a great battlefield now. People were murdered to get gold rings and necklaces. Treasures were collected, and the lust for gold raged like a plague. Heid walked amidst the slaughter, laughing happily and enjoying the sight of the evil done. She taught the women, how to cast spells and how to use a wand to do evil spells. She showed them, how to get joy and bliss from evil. The world seemed to go mad.
To save humanity, the gods captured Gullweig and dragged him to Asgard. She was to be tried here. The Aesir gathered at a rally. Water zone, that to put an end to evil, one must kill the witch. So she was thrown on javelins, thus sacrificing Odin, but she got up, without harm. A great fire was then lit, and Gullweig was thrown into the flames, to be burnt in them, and her magic with her; it was done three times, and each time it rose from the stack even more beautiful and shinier, just like gold, which the more melted, the more it shines. Pojał Odin, that GulIweig is immortal, for it was guided by the force of destiny, more powerful than the magic of the Aesir.
