Eigerøy Lighthouse
Do Eigerøy Lighthouse – majestic, derived from 1855 r. lighthouse on Midbrødøy, located near the southwestern tip of Eigerøy – can be reached on foot from the distant fr 2 km of parking lot. The views from here are wonderful in any weather (especially on a stormy night!), but the lighthouse is only open on Sundays in July from 11.00 do 16.00. Dojazd autobusem Nord Eigerøy z Rutebilstasjon; get off at the sign 'Eigerøy Fyr” by the roadside 502 (15 min, 17 nkr.). It takes approx 1 hours.
For those looking for a longer walk, take the Sør Eigerøy bus from the city center to Augland (15 min, 17 nkr) and get off in Kværner. From there over 20 minutes walk to a picturesque area with a few short hiking trails.
