Egersund Church
The oldest fragments of the church in Egersund date back to 20. XVII w., but some elements of the decor are older. W 1607 r. a carved altar was built depicting the baptism and crucifixion of Christ, by sculptor Thomas Christophersen of Stavanger (the polychromes were made by Peter Reimers). The baptismal font is dated one year 1583. The church is open daily from 20 VI to 1 VIII of 11.00 do 14.00.
Varberg
There is a beautiful view of the city center from Varberg – hills with a TV mast. It takes approx 15 minutes.
