Kongsberg Cathedral
The largest baroque church in Norway, located in the Old Town, on the west bank of the river, was officially opened in 1761 r. In the rococo interior you can admire decorative chandeliers and an unusual altar, connecting the altar table on one wall, the pulpit and organ pipes.
The cathedral can be visited with a guide from 18 V do 31 VIII, on weekdays from 10.00 do 16.00, on Saturdays from 10.00 do 13.00 and on Sundays from 14.00 do 17.00 (20 nkr). In the remaining months, the temple is open from Tuesday to Friday 10.00- 12.00.
