Dalane Bygdemuseum in Egersund Fayance
Consisting of two parts, the Dalane Bygdemuseum (national museum; 51491479) includes a group of historic wooden houses in Slettebø, 4 km north of the city, by the roadside 42, and especially Egersund Fayance worth seeing (faience museum; 51492640) w Eia, 35 km northeast of the city. It shows the history and products of the Egersund Fayance faience and porcelain factory, which in years 1847-1979 she provided employment to the inhabitants of the entire district.
