As they crossed the border of the Win River, they noticed, that the water is starting to swell rapidly. Thor saw right away, that it is the daughters of Geirrodr who stand at the spring and scoop the water, to drown the wanderers. So he hurled a large boulder, which blocked the outflow of water and a lake was created, in which the giants nearly drowned. Since then, they have not encountered any obstacles along the way.
Once the gods came to the court of Geirrodra, they were led to a goat pen and this one was given for an apartment. There were no utensils in it except one stool. Thor zdrożony, he wanted to rest on it, but as soon as he sat down, the stool began to rise sharply, threatening the god with crushing it against the ceiling. Thor leaned against the ceiling with his grace - the gift of the Grid, holding back the pressure of the stool. Then there was a crack and a loud scream. Geirródr's sneaky daughters crawled out from under the stool, Gialp and Greip, both with broken bones. Thor got angry and ran to look for his host. He found him in the forge. At the sight of Asa angry, Geirrodr threw a hot piece of iron at it. Thor grabbed him by the gauntlet and threw him away so hard, that he pierced the pillar supporting the vault and the Geirrodr hidden behind it. Having done this, he and Loki returned home, greatly pleased with himself. Geirrodr was left alone, mutilated and with crippled daughters. He no longer bothered the wanderers and was soon lost in the news.
