Broke immediately went to his brother's seat, and he went to work immediately. He threw a piece of gold into the furnace, pronounced the appropriate spell and swept Broky, that this one constantly blows bellows, and he left himself. At one point, a wire flew into the workshop and cut Broke's hand, but he continued his work.
Then Syndr came back and took the boar out of the oven. He had this property, that you could ride it just as well on the ground, as well as on the water, and his hair gave light even in the darkest darkness.
Again Syndr tossed a piece of gold into the furnace and ordered the bellows to be blown on the fire as before, he himself went away. The giez reappeared and this time he cut Broke on the neck. Nevertheless, the dwarf did not stop working. Syndr had returned, and now he took the Draupnir pauldron from the oven. It had the advantage, that every ninth night he gave birth to nine like himself.
This time, Syndr threw a piece of iron into the furnace and, leaving my brother at the bells, gone. A gear flew in and he cut Broke's eyelid so hard, blood flowed. The dwarf shuddered and, to chase away the fly, he dropped the bellows for a moment. However, he immediately returned to his interrupted work, the more zealously, that he was afraid, that a short delay could harm the product. Syndr returned and took the hammer of Mjollnir from the furnace. He had this property, that once thrown it always achieved its goal by crushing it, to return to the owner's hand right away. He could also shrink like this on request, that it could be put in a pocket.
Broke now took all his brother's works and went to Asgard, for the gods to settle the bet. He handed Odin the Draupnir, Wild boar to Frey, a Thorowi Mjóllnira. The gods gathered for a council and took part, that Thor's litter takes precedence over all. Thus, they awarded the victory to Broky.
The dwarf was now demanding Loki's head. This one suggested, that he would pay the wages. Broke refused to agree to it, suspecting rightly, that it was Loki who had been turned into a gza trying to interrupt his work. Loki then started to run away, until finally Thor held him down, remembering the hurt of his wife.
There was nothing Loki could do about that. He agreed, for Broke to take his head, but contested the right to the neck. The dwarf was astonished at the perversity of his opponent and finally contented himself with sewing his mouth. From then on, Loki went mute for a long time, unable to respond to Aesir's taunts. In the end, he was taken with pity and released from his shame.
This is how Loki was punished for his pride, and the gods have acquired mighty weapons in the fight against the giants. Soon Mjollnir gained such malevolent fame among the evil powers of the world, that the mere memory of him put off. Therefore, people began to wear the image of the hammer as a talisman against evil forces.
