Gods part 1

The supreme gods were called Asami. The first is Odin. He is the son of Bur and the giantess Beast, the god of wisdom, poetry, witchcraft and war. Unrestrained in his desire to know the truth. He did not shy away from the greatest sacrifice, or a scam. To drink one sip of water from the well of knowledge he gave up his one eye - hence the One-Eye is called. When he wanted to explore the essence of magic - to learn the secret of the runes, he hung on Yggdrasill for nine days and nights, self-sacrificing. He cheated without hesitation, to get the Honey of Poetry. Thus his wisdom is immeasurable. They call him Walfadr (Father of the Fallen), because all of these, who will fall in battle, he accepts as sons in his abode. The fate of a warrior rests in his hand. He is giving away the victory, not always fairly according to people's minds, for often in his battles the cowardly and the weaker prevail. As a result, however, the unit of the bravest of the brave is constantly growing in Wal-Hall, to stand alongside the gods in battle for a year on the day of rag. Odin embarks on the battle armed only with a javelin, on Sleipnir's eight-legged horse.

Among all the brave of this world, Odin prefers kings and jarls. They enjoy his special care.

Odin gave people poetry and the gift of composing songs, he also allowed the use of runes. However, he threw a war between them. He taught people, how to kill and profit from it. It is cunning, a wise and cruel god. People are afraid to mention his real name, therefore it has many calls.

Odin's spouse was Frigg. Gentle and caring, she often looked with regret at the actions of her husband. She is given the gift of seeing the future and the past. This, what he knows, however, he does not reveal to anyone.
