Loki wandered in the woods for some time, remembering humiliation, and that the beer had not yet blown from his head, decided to go back and take revenge on the Aesir. He wanted to arouse their anger and spread discord among them, so that they can never sit together in a room with beer and songs.
In front of the door of the court, Agira stumbled upon Loki the Eldir - the celebrated Agira cook. Ten, having seen the coming giant, he shuddered, fearing, so that Fimafeng's fate would not befall him. But Loki wasn't going to kill this time. He just asked, what the gods are doing in the hall and what they talk about. Eldir replied, that they tell tales of their adventures and advantages in battle, but no one kindly mentions his name. Hearing it, Loki laughed derisively and strode into the room.
Everyone fell silent at the sight of him. Loki looked around defiantly and asked, will no one serve him a drink, so that he could drink for the "proud” gods. Bragi - the lord of poetry - replied to this teasing, that there is no place behind the table for uninvited and disgraced guests. Loki, knowing, that he is second to none in a duel for the words of Braga, he went, that he did not hear and turned directly to Odin, invoking the brotherhood of blood, which they concluded centuries ago. The Father of Gods, bound by the words of the oath, agreed, for Loki to share a table with them, and instructed Widar, for him to make room for him and hand him the first cup. However, he did not call Loki by name, using instead the term "father of wolves”. Ten, raising their first toast, greeted, as befits a grateful guest, all revelers, while pointing out, however, that he cannot drink Bragi's health. Bragi is gentle by nature, wanting to avoid quarrels at all costs, he offered himself a ransom, that only Loki would give up his feud. In return, he gave him a horse and a sword, and an expensive epaulette, but he was laughed at and insulted. Loki accused him of poverty and cowardice, at the same time calling it skittish and an ornament of a bench. Bragi was about to duel, to wash away the insult with blood, but here intervened Idunn, the golden-haired lady of youth, begging, to give up fighting. And Loki did not spare her, calling the most sophisticated of women. This was answered by Gafeon - this one, who knew destiny on a par with Odin. She said, so that the Aesir would end their unnecessary struggle, because Loki, though he doesn't know it himself, he has already lost and shows the mark of fate. Loki was frightened, hearing the words of prophecy, but his anger took over his mind, when he insulted Gafeon, making her a lecher and a harlot, what it goes to bed with young men for a handful of trinkets.
