Heroes go out every day, to exercise fighting the wolf, but none of them suffer any wounds and return to the feast untouched in the evening. Odin himself sits at the table with the fallen, and the food placed in front of him he distributes between the wolves, Gere and Freke. He only drinks wine himself, which serves him as food. Two ravens are sitting on his shoulders, Higinn (mind) i Munnin (memory), whispering news from the world in his ear. Hejdrunn the goat stands above Valhalla. Honey flows in a constant stream from her udder, which the heroes crave. Woje ucztują, drinking honey and beer and eating the flesh of the wonderful Saehrimnir wild boar, which the cook Andhrimnir is cooking in the Eldhrimnir cauldron. The boar is made every day, comes alive in the evening. Virgins called Walkiriatni serve at the table for the fallen. They deliver beer and food, taking care of the heroes' comfort. Odin sends them to the battlefields, to choose these, what are they going to do. The heroes who have fallen in battle lead from the battlefield to Valhalla through the Walgrind gate, which only they can open. Half of those, what died belongs to Odin, half and Freya.

In Thrudheim, Thor lives in a court called Bilskermer, after Odin, the most powerful. Ullr has chosen to dwell in the shadowy valleys of Ydalir. Frey lives in Alfheim. In Thrymheim, there is a manor house in the mountains, where Skadi lives, Njord's wife. The husband spends nine nights in her household, and she in return three at his seat called Noatun, which is located on the seashore. Breidablik is called the estate, where the Baldr's mansion stands. No meanness has access here. Heimdall's house is in Himinbjorg, guardian of the gods. Freya's seat is called Folkwang. Half of the fallen heroes stay there. See Baldra President, the judge between the gods takes Glitnir's court. This is a great headquarters. The golden one has supports, and the roof is covered with silver.
