Kwasir, when the gods created him, he set off immediately for Midgard, to spread the truth about gods and the world among people. He taught, how the Aesir are to be worshiped, how to help them in their fight against the giants. There was no question, to which he could not or hesitated to answer. He was also mild-mannered, sincere heart and full of trust. For it was created from a divine substance and was not subject to the curse of the first of the giants, and thus evil did not have access to it. In his goodness he did not suspect deception, when he accepted the invitation of two dwarfs, Fialarra i Galarra. Midgets, luring Kvasir to his underground headquarters, they murdered him, and from his blood they brewed in a special Odhrorir cauldron, magic drink - Poetry Honey, also known as Kvasir's Blood. Whoever drank the Honey enjoyed the gift of the skalds. Then they poured it into two vessels, Sen and Bodn, and kept it strictly secret. To hide my evil deed, Fialarr and Galarr spread a rumor around the world, that Kvasir was so full of wisdom, that he finally died from it.
The first murder committed with impunity pushed the dwarfs to another crime. Willing to test his cunning, invited the giant Gilling and his wife. They hosted him for a while, until one time they offered him to catch fish. Once they were far from the shore, deliberately directed the boat at the rocks, where she capsized. Gilling could not swim and drowned, the dwarfs turned the boat over and safely returned home. Here they notified Gilling's wife, that her husband had fallen out of the boat and drowned. The giantess's despair over the loss of her husband was terrible. She cried and wanted to, on the advice of Fialarr, go to the seaside to see the crash site. There she also died when hit by a boulder, that the dwarfs had pushed on her.
